Yesterday, someone told me that homosexuality is a defect. “There have been scientific studies that have shown that there might be a gene that is causing it.” Oh, so a gene that makes someone slightly different than you is a defect?  Something is broken? How is that one gene different than one that makes your skin a different color? Or makes you tall or short? We are all human, and we are all beautifully different in our own way. There is no “perfect” set of genes, just as there is no one right way to be.
